When Lorna Crooks and Tandy Gotschall opened Midori’s Décor in early 2007, they asked Carole Mitsuda, an artist with 16 years retail experience, to help them create a shopping experience with an Asian flair. Lorna’s daughter-in-law, Midori, lives in China and has the opportunity to shop for antiques with locals and visit factories that manufacture furniture for the worldwide market. In addition to one-of-a-kind Chinese vintage furniture and decorative pieces, Midori’s Décor features renowned artists, Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs terra cotta, Stella Page purses, and unique jewelry from Beyond Words, The Leakey Collection, and Potluck Paris. Carole is imaginative and resourceful and keeps the store looking fresh and current. Midori’s Décor has sensational gift wrapping!
